Brother Rick has been our pastor since April,2008. He and his wife, Lori, are native Arkansans. They have served churches in Arkansas, Texas and Michigan. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and Luther Rice Seminary, Lithonia, GA and has studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. Prior to his twenty years of ministry, Brother Rick was self employed as an industrial contractor in South Arkansas for nearly ten years. He and Lori have three adult children and are expecting their first grandchild sometime toward the end of March, 2010.
We invite you to join us each Sunday as we grow under Brother Rick's preaching and teaching ministry.
Carnes McCormack - Music Director FBC is fortunate to have an extremely talented musical leader. Carnes McCormack is a native of Mississippi and has lived in Yellville since April 1995. A graduate of Coffeeville High School in Mississippi, and a 1970 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Music Education, Carnes is now retired from the entertainment industry after 27 years of performing. He has been choir director for First Baptist since August 1995, while his wife Macy plays the piano and operates the electronic media. They have a daughter, Maggie, 13, who is also an active member of FBC. Two other children, Peyton and Meredith, are both married and live in Mississippi. Peyton has one child, Henry, who is 1 year old. The McCormacks love doing God's work and are happy to be a part of FBC.
Daniel Hickey - Youth Minister Hello, I am Daniel Hickey the Youth Minister here at FBC Yellville. The Lord has been so good to me by blessing me with a wonderful wife and twin daughters. I am a math teacher @ Alpena High School, a cattle rancher, deacon, youth minister, and father. Sometimes life gets pretty busy but I always have the Lord on my side. Here at FBC Yellville we want to see all come to repentance and work for the Lord. He is worth of all of our praise and worship. Come visit us sometime and join in on the excitement.
